Keyboard shortcuts

Everything in Read Master works from the keyboard. These shortcuts make the common actions faster.

Anywhere in the app

Press Ctrl+K to open the command palette. Type to search your library or jump to a page, such as your library, import, settings or this help centre.

In the reader

Default reader shortcuts

A few more single keys work in the reader:

• G opens your pre-reading guides.
• A opens reading preferences.
• M adds or removes a bookmark on the current page.
• / searches the book.
• F switches full screen on and off.
• Esc clears your selection.

Turn single-key shortcuts off

Single letters can get in the way if you use speech input or sometimes press keys by accident. To turn them off:

1. Press A in the reader, or open Reading preferences.
2. Find the Keyboard section.
3. Switch off Single-key shortcuts.

This applies across your account. Shortcuts that use ⌘ or Ctrl keep working.
